Overnight Oats Recipe

Hi Three to Five Tribe! As some of you may have seen last week, I recently started to incorporate certain starches in my daily diet, (Amen!) which has led me to discover my new favorite go-to breakfast meal – overnight oats. As we approach the dog days of summer with heat and humidity, our bodies naturally crave cooling foods to well, keep us cool, so if you are looking for a recipe to help keep you cool (besides a chilled chia seed pudding), try this delicious recipe for overnight oats.


Sweet & Savory Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup of Three Trees Milk or your plant-based milk of choice
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp cocoa nibbs
  • 1-2 tbsp cashew butter or your favorite nut or seed butter of choice or go nut free with this option
  • Cinnamon

Directions:

1.) Place gluten-free oats and nut milk in a bowl and mix together then place in the refrigerator overnight. When ready to eat, add banana slices, cocoa nibbs, nut or seed butter and cinnamon then enjoy!
