Hi Three to Five Tribe! The First Day of Spring is just around the corner, but we are still a ways away from warmer weather days. (Awww shucks). If you are looking for more ways to warm up this winter, try this easy and delicious recipe for a high fat hot chocolate. Bonus: It’s Keto friendly. Oh and for the record, you can enjoy homemade hot chocolate outside the month of December. Just sayin’!
High Fat Hot
Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces boiling water
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1-3 teaspoons of cocoa powder
Directions:
#1 Combine all ingredients into your favorite oversized mug. Sip and enjoy!
A word of warning: Coconut oil gets extremely hot when combined with boiling water, so sip with caution. Take it from me and my burnt tongue. Ouch!
